As a senior associate in the London Intellectual Property Group, Alexandra has focused her practice at Hogan Lovells on patent litigation. She concentrates primarily in telecommunications, biotechnology and pharmaceutical patent litigation with a cross-border element. In the telecoms sector, Alexandra has experience acting in a number of disputes concerning essential and non-essential technologies, including on issues such as the availability of injunctions on essential patents and other aspects of FRAND obligations.

Alexandra has acted in proceedings before the Patents High Court, Court of Appeal and the Court of Justice of the European Union, and she has first-hand experience of the Mannheim patent infringement courts. On the non-contentious side, Alexandra advises on a range of patent portfolio and SPC issues. In addition, she has experience of advising on the intellectual property aspects in corporate transactions involving a wide spectrum of technology focused companies, and has drafted and negotiated intellectual property and commercial agreements with high technology content.

Alexandra studied Natural Sciences at Durham University (2005, B.Sc. (Hons)) and joined Hogan Lovells as a trainee in 2010. She obtained the University of Oxford Diploma in IP law in 2013. Alexandra is a solicitor-advocate with higher rights of audience in the English Courts.
