On Friday, 27 January 2012, CMS issued its proposed rule to implement the Medicaid drug rebate program provisions of the health reform legislation. The proposed rule is very long — at 202 pages in its public inspection version, which is attached. Comments are due 2 April 2012. The CMS press release states that CMS expects to issue a final rule in 2013.
