Awards
- In September 2011 Hogan Lovells received the Community Partners Award at the prestigious City of London Lord Mayor's Dragon Awards annual dinner for our partnership with St Luke's Trust. The program was recognized as having a positive impact for a number of people in one of London's most deprived areas. The partnership consists of an education project to enhance the confidence and debating skill of primary school students, resume assistance and interview preparation for adults, special events for the elderly, and the partial sponsorship of a Business Link Officer to identify the needs of the community and match those with support from local businesses.
- America's Charities presented David Winter and Eunice Kim with the 2011 Supporting Community Award for our commitment to local nonprofits. Through Hogan Lovells' workplace giving campaign, we provide ongoing support to organizations that provide vital services to those in need in the Washington metropolitan area.
- In June 2011 Hogan Lovells was awarded Business in the Community's National Big Tick for community investment in one of the most deprived areas in the United Kingdom. In partnership with St. Luke's Community Centre, a charity that helps people with services and facilities, our London office manages a community program addressing the needs of the local population, directly contributing to the lives of over 500 people during the past year and indirectly impacting the lives of many more. The Big Tick award is part of the national Awards for Excellence, which recognize inspirational programs that are making a positive impact on the community, the environment, or wider society.
