WELCOME

Our new attorneys are the future of the firm, and recruiting lawyers of extraordinary talent and drive is one of our top priorities. We employ lawyers of intellectual distinction who also bring demonstrated leadership ability, a commitment to excellence, well-honed judgment, refined communication skills, and a proven ability to work well as part of a very strong team. In addition to hiring entry-level associates from our summer program, we also seek exceptional third year law students, judicial clerks, and lateral associate candidates to meet current staffing needs.

The firm has no pre-established class standing or grade point average requirement. We consider evidence of leadership ability, motivation, communication skills, and contribution to the community, as well as strong academic achievement and legal writing and work experience. Over the years, graduates from more than 50 U.S. law schools and numerous law schools abroad have joined the firm. Our ranks include former White House advisors, members of U.S. Congress, U.S. Supreme Court clerks, members of law review, Fulbright Scholars, assistant U.S. attorneys, medical doctors, military officers, government officials, teachers, journalists, business owners, engineers, and social workers.

Take a Closer Look

As member of a large extended family, and a former college rugby player, I like to feel like I’m a part of a team, and that I have an important role to play in the team’s efforts. Teamwork has been a key aspect of my experience at Hogan Lovells, and I have been as impressed by my teammates as I hope they have been with me.
