Alex Johnson advises clients on U.S. and cross-border mergers and acquisitions and a variety of other corporate transactions, including leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, and recapitalizations. Alex also counsels clients on a broad range of corporate, securities, and business-related matters.
Alex has been recognized for his work by Chambers and the Legal 500, and was named a "Rising Star" in M&A in the 2011 edition of New York Super Lawyers. Alex was also a recipient of the M&A Advisor’s "40 Under 40" award, which each year recognizes 40 M&A professionals under the age of 40 for their achievements.
Alex has also served as an adjunct professor at Fordham University School of Law, where he taught a class on mergers and acquisitions and, prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Alex was an attorney in the mergers and acquisitions department of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
