Alan Greenough is co-head of Hogan Lovells private equity practice. He has been involved in a wide range of domestic and cross border transactions advising private equity clients on investments and acquisitions, and management on MBOs and secondary buyouts, as well as advising portfolio companies on bolt on acquisitions, refinancings and exits.

  • Actis – on its €118m acquisition of the Vlisco Group of its investment in Gulf of Guinea Energy Limited and on the US$120m merger of Gulf of Guinea Energy Limited with Exoro Energy International Limited
  • LDC - £30m MBO of MB Aerospace Limited & MB Faber Limited
  • Dunedin - £25m acquisition of Rathbone Trust Company Limited
  • Foundation Investment Partners Limited - advising on a series of transactions in the healthcare and education sectors
